On Saturday June 15 we toured the Rachel Carson House in Silver Spring, which is a National Landmark. This is where she lived when she wrote Silent Spring, and it it near the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail along the N.W. Branch. We also got to walk through the lovely pollinator garden which was established over the last ten years. Thank you so much to the folks at the Rachel Carson Landmark Alliance. After the tour, six of us explored the area of the trail where Carson walked and was interviewed.
