On Saturday, July 27th, Nancy Lawson and her husband Will welcomed the Wild Ones Nation’s Capitol members for a garden tour at their home for the second time!. Nancy Lawson is the author of the Humane Gardener and Wildscapes. Their home is on 2.23 acres and they have lived there for over 20 years. They have been slowly converting the 2.23 acres to native plants, shrubs and trees. The difference in the garden since April is astounding and the bees, butterflies and frogs kept everyone’s cameras clicking. Actually, a better term for it would be a wildlife sanctuary.
